ISRO EXPO
The Indian Space Research Organisation was formed in 1969. Vikram Sarabhai, having identified the role and importance of space technology in a Nation's development provided ISRO the necessary direction to function as an agent of development. Throughout the years, ISRO has upheld its mission of bringing space to the service of the common man, to the service of the Nation. In the process, it has become one of the six largest space agencies in the world. To propagate the importance of ISRO and to inform the goals and mission of ISRO, Government College Of Engineering, Kannur as part of ISTE GCEK hosted an ISRO EXPO. The main highlight of the event was many distinguished people from ISRO were a part of the expo. Presentations on ISRO were taken by our student volunteers. Many students from different colleges were a part of the expo. Students from various schools along with their teachers came in buses to attend the expo. The students came with a vague idea about ISRO but the presentations and talks given by our enthusiastic volunteers gave them a good exposure on ISRO.All were very happy about becoming a part of the expo. We could see the same excited faces of the students from the beginning till the end of the event. The event was very beneficial to all those who have attended. The whole-hearted participation of our entire team led the program to great success.
